Simon and his team were incredible before, during and after our wedding day. Simon went above and beyond to answer any questions that we had about food choices, timings and general queries to ensure we had the right package for us. 

During our tasting at our home Simons food was impeccable which made us even more blown away when on the wedding day our food was even yummier than before. 

We met Simon again at the venue the day before our wedding and he made us feel at ease, even going above and beyond trying to help us fix other slight hiccups he had no involvement in. But again, highlighting his amazing service trying to make the day as smooth as possible for us both. 

Simon catered for 70 day guests, and 110 evening guests. This of course meant several allergies and dietary requirements, however nothing was too much trouble for him and his team. Simon finished off buy cutting our cake for us. All of our guests and ourselves were all amazed at how delicious the food was and very full afterwards. 

To conclude, Sam and I would fully recommend Simons service. Not only are you getting impeccable customer service from before, during and after your event but also amazing quality and very tasty food. We hope you use you again at a private event or a family/friends wedding in the future.

Can I just start with saying thankyou and we’re so happy we picked you to feed our guests and what a big success it was.

The guests were overwhelmed with the amount of food on offer and I’ve been asked so many times ( can we have the coleslaw recipe) pls , also the toffee cheesecake went down a storm,  think my mum had 3 pieces and we’ve been asked who did the food and how wonderful it was,  so much better than a roast dinner so we picked well with all your help and expertise.

Weddings can be stressful, especially when it comes to feeding the family. But Simon Pollendine went above beyond to alleviate all stresses we could have faced to give us and our guest an experience we could never forget. Even distant relatives are reaching out to say how good the food was! Simon tailor made our menu to fit out theme, which made our day even more special. Even to up to the last few weeks, Simon checked in, helped with any amendments, and offered guidance in making sure we enjoyed our day.

Simon & his team are complete professionals both on the wedding day & the lead up to it. Whenever we had a wondering concern, he answered all our questions (often within a few hours!) and put our minds at ease completely… In addition, the food was amazing! We had over 100 people to feed many of which had specific dietary requirements, and we only heard great feedback from our guests. His flexibility to meet our requests from the food itself to the way it was cooked was really appreciated… He even last minute cut our cake into portions for our guests!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you, to you and your team, for looking after all 29 of us at the sit down 3 course dinner + canapes + cheese for my husband's 80th birthday.

It was a truly memorable event, so, so special being able to have it in our own home. You appear completely laid back and so professional, with great attention to detail, it took all the stress away from me - and that takes some doing!

Your canapes were fantastic and numerous of our guests said it was the best fillet of beef they had ever had - it really was fabulous. You cook to the highest of standards - we know we would never have had such a wonderful meal if we had gone to a restaurant.

This is the second time you have come and catered for us and on both occasions you have been faultless and made the whole process from choosing the menus and arranging all the hire equipment and bringing great staff just so easy leaving us with nothing to do except sit back and enjoy - and we did!!

Thank you so much for making our 60th Wedding Anniversary such a brilliant event. Although we were only a party of 12 close friends, not having to do the cooking myself on this occasion was a marvellous treat. The canapés were beautifully presented, nicely varied, delicious and the quantity just right before sitting down to dinner. Eleven of us enjoyed the succulent and tender Lamb and in solitary splendour, Geoff polished off the Salmon pasta with relish.

Both of the puddings were as delicious to eat as they were attractive to look at, and the Truffles went down well with everyone. Theresa served the food and wine with friendly efficiency and you greeted our guests with great bonhomie as they passed through the kitchen.......and the most appreciated moment came when I realised that, not only had you washed all the cookware and crockery but, the kitchen had been left sparkling clean.

You made a good impression on everyone present and I have given them all details of how to contact you should they wish to.

Ray and I will have no hesitation in highly recommending your services.

Thank you to Simon and Julie for making my fathers 80th birthday celebrations such a special event.

Simon was a joy to deal with as we discussed the menu.

On the day the food was so much better than we could have imagined. The canapés were displayed beautifully and were wolfed down by my family. Manners were out the window!!

The gin salmon & beetroot was perfect and looked stunning on the plate. The main course was divine. Melt in your mouth filet of beef with dauphinoise and carrots. So pleased we left room for pudding as Simon created an incredible selection of four puds. All mini versions of our family favorites. We were all amazed with how Simon created incredible food from a small and unfamiliar kitchen. This chef is a genius.

Simon and his team catered for our wedding and the food and service was of an incredible standard and we have had so many compliments from our guest.

Simon held a tasting session before the big day which was a really nice added personal touch where we got to meet with Simon and talk through all of our ideas and made sure everything we wanted was captured.

Simon was happy to be flexible on our menu choices and really understood what we wanted to achieve on the day. We did have a few allergies and last-minute dropouts but nothing was too much for Simon and the team.

Communication before the day was quick, the day itself ran smoothly and all of the food looked and tasted great.

Honestly we can’t recommend Simon enough, He was brilliant from start to finish!

Huge thankyou to Simon and his team for everything they did for us . we were quite late in asking Simon to cater for our wedding ,however he was fantastic from start to finish for us. we had lots of different dietary requirements which he catered for with fantastic food. The canapes were fantastic and the main breakfast was beautiful.

we wanted a BBQ and he went out of his way to do this for us , with plenty of food for each guests , with side salads and all the trimmings to.

Even made sure there was enough for seconds !

Honestly cant recommend him enough from start to finish he was brilliant thankyou again

The food you created for us amazing and, was just as brilliant on our wedding day cooking for 77 guests! 

 

We received so many compliments of the food, the canapés, mains and desserts were beautifully presented.

I was first introduced to Simon when he attended my daughter’s home for a taster menu evening so that she could be sure of the dishes being ordered for her wedding. We were blown away with the food and loved everything. The food prepared and served on the big day replicated exactly what we had previously been served. The support team Simon brings along are experienced and professional. They are slick! I can honestly say I haven’t had such good food since then. It’s high end cuisine at a reasonable cost. Add to that the fact that Simon has integrity in everything he does, anyone using his services will not be disappointed. I would never use anyone else now I’ve experienced the best!

The food and your team were totally amazing everyone as bowled over with the food my sister was still going on this morning about the cheesecake and the honeycomb.
